The perfect view.
Look at that dish of paella! It was so good! I can’t wait to go back to Spain and eat paella!
Playa Santa Ponsa is a small stunning beach located just a short drive away from our beautiful villa in Costa de la Calma. It was our last evening of our ‘mini-moon’ weekend and we knew we wanted make it special. So we got all dolled up and headed to the beach for a sunset dinner. We didn’t know where we wanted to eat, but all we knew is that we wanted to dine while enjoying the sunset.
Alex and I strolled along the beach feeling absolutely starved, but we soon found ourselves greeted with a weekend festival. We had no idea what type of occasion it was, but there were food stalls, girls of all ages wearing adorable Spanish dresses, and carnival rides!
As we made our way to the end of the beach we picked the first restaurant we saw because it was so busy! During our travels we always pick a restaurant that is busy because 99% of the time it’s delicious! We were so lucky that we were seated at the back entrance of the restaurant away from the crowd, and enjoyed the sunset in peace together. We ate true Spanish paella for the first time ever, and shared a litre of sangria.
I love finding places to eat with Alex. Sometimes we do our research and go to spots that are highly recommended and we will do everything we can to get to that specific restaurant, or we just casually come across what ends up being the most memorable place to dine.
We absolutely cannot wait until the next time we visit Palma de Mallorca!
