BONDI BEACH

*

Hi friends! So it’s been a while since I’ve posted a travel blog, and it’s definitely about time! Life has been so busy lately, and I feel like that’s all I ever say when opening up a blog, but for real, life has been busy! We boarded Voyager of The Seas on April 16th and have hardly had two days off since then! With rehearsals, tech runs, dress runs, opening the shows, catering to the guests for All-Skates, parades, getting the new dancers ready, everything! It’s been non-stop! I’ve barely had a chance to go to the gym, which I miss so much!

Here is my BONDI BEACH blog! I’m really happy with how the photos turned out. I’ve been watching a lot of tutorial videos on Adobe Lightroom and trying to create my own presets. I’m no expert by any means, but I’m definitely making progress. I’ve also created a vlog for our time in Bondi Beach. It’s cute, short, and sweet! You’ll enjoy it!

What we did in Bondi Beach:

  1. Breakfast at SPEEDOS CAFE – This place is the bomb! Seriously! The açai bowls are the bomb, and a superb location of vegan lovers! I am not vegan, but I strive to be. I feel better when I eat clean, and to be honest all the meat that is served on the ship is horrible! I’m picky, so I have high standards when it comes to the meat I eat, but seriously, I basically become vegetarian while living on the ship! I’m sure one day I’ll become a full vegan lover! I believe it’s better for your body, the animals on our planet, and our soul! There are so many different options out there to find a good source of protein!
  2. Walk the beach/boardwalk – Okay, so to be honest I had major South Beach Miami vibes here! I suppose that’s rude for the people of Sydney, but I think the touristy vibe gave me those feelings. However, it’s still very unique! This place is amazing! There are actual SURFERS in the water! I sound ridiculous but how cool is it for the locals of Bondi to wake up in the morning and ride their boards. I wish I had the guts to do this! Also, the grassy hill is so nice to lay out on if you don’t want to get all sandy. Friends of ours bought snacks from the nearest grocery store and had a picnic! I thought this was an amazing idea!
  3. Walk the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk – This is such a pretty walk because you get an amazing view of Bondi Beach + Tamarama Beach! Make sure your camera is charged to take lots of fun pictures! We were too scared to fly to drone up in this area because it was extra windy!
  4. Lunch at HOTEL RAVESIS – We decided on this location because the restaurant is located on the second floor overlooking the beach. It was the perfect way to reflect on the morning, have a delicious lunch, and a well deserved cider!

Bondi Beach is simple, stunning, and exciting! If you ever go to Sydney, make sure to check this place off of your list!
